Richard Bourque started playing guitar at the age of 13. He began playing with Samantha Robichaud's fiddle group at the age of 16. At 17 Richard started to play mandolin and joined the group 'The Bluegrass Diamonds' singing some lead in both English and French. He played with them for 3 years and recorded 2 CD's. He helped form another bluegrass band called 'The GrassKickers' and now at age 24, Richard plays with a bluegrass band called 'True Blue' with Ray Legere & Acoustic Horizon (wicked band! lol) backing up many of the local singers and bands. While with The Bluegrass Diamonds, Richard won guitar player of the year at the East Coast Bluegrass Music Awards, 3 years in a row.




Ray Legere is one of today's most honored Bluegrass fiddlers. His many awards include five-time winner of the Eastern and Central Division Bluegrass Awards in the categories of Mandolin and Fiddle, winner of two Open Mandolin Championships and finalist in the Canadian and Nashville's Grand Masters Fiddle Championships. Ray's extensive tour schedule includes backing artists like Michelle Shocked, Tony Rice, John McDermott, Alison Brown, Rita McNeil and finding time to be house fiddler for a popular French Canadian music TV series. Mathew Johnson started Fiddle & Step Dancing at the early age of 3 and began competing not long after at age 4. With numerous awards for both fiddle and step under to his credit, Mathew is a very versatile entertainer! Some of his awards include Canadian Open Step Champion, 5-time Canadian Open Group Champion with 'Triple Dynamite', Canadian Open Fiddle Champion & the People's Choice Award. He has travelled the world solo as well as in various groups proudly representing Canada. He has resigned from competing in Step Dancing but continues to perform for various shows and judge competitions.
